透過WADK所製做的WinPE版本為5.0，但如果要做成Wimboot的話，則必須版本為5.1。如何將WinPE 5.0變成5.1，則可透過這篇文章可輕易的做轉變：Update WinPE 5.0 to WinPE 5.1
但針對其內容部份有做一些修改如下(x86版本，若要64位元版本，可參考MSDN連結)：
a. 透過WADK，先做WinPE 5.0： CopyPEcmd x86 c:\PE_x86

在做WDS部署時，在BIOS設定由網卡開機(PXE boot)遇到了下列的問題：
PXE-E11: ARP timeout
PXE-E11: ARP time out
PXE-E30: TFTP cannot open connection

備份了兩個partition(System and Windows)，不過當按照連結，https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824910.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396，在還原時沒意外會出現Winload.exe is missing issue (Error code is 0xc000000e)。這個問題是因為開機時找不到開機必要的資訊，也就是system partition。按照連結的內容所示已經建立出來沒錯，但兩個建立出來不代表兩者有關連，必須下指令去讓system partition知道windows partition在哪。
之前有找到一些指令，也的確可以用，如下：

Bootsect /nt60 c:

bcdedit.exe /set {default} osdevice boot

bcdedit.exe /set {default} device boot

bcdedit.exe /set {default} detecthal 1

Got the feedback that the update from QFE team that the fix is being released as part of March release, and it should be available for OEMs to download sometime this week on MYOEM.
如果有這方面問題的朋友可以等三月的update released後下載下來看問題是否有解決了。

有一個CE 6.0的share folder問題如下：

The QFE team provides a test package having the fix for this issue for WE8S x86fre.  I just tested it and it seems to be resolving the issue.

在去年二月份時發表了這篇，內容敘述著EC7透過Media Player撥放某些檔案時會有exception出現，經過長久的尋找總算找到答案如下："This Codec code is ported from Windows and currently developer is working on building them within WE7 build tree. They have seen some errors with building this module under WEC7 and currently discussing this issue with desktop team. Once the build issue is unblocked, Product team will be able to comment on release plan and I would have better update for schedule then. "
透過以上的敘述似乎是codec這一邊出了問題，導致播放某些檔案會有問題。經過跟desktop tem, multi media的合作處理後現在則有新的binary files產生，經過驗證也沒有問題。再次詢問得到的update會是在這個月release出來，如果有同樣問題的朋友可以從MyOEM下載KB看問題有無繼續存在。

之前遇到一個問題特別拿出來討論，就是裝了Wave2的WEC7 device開機後第一次接PC，ActiveSync還可以用，但拔掉USB cable，再接一次PC，ActiveSync就找不到device了。經過徹查，找到是之前的KB所引起。如果將141031_KB2983890修正的Afd.dll替換成之前的版本，ActiveSync即可正常動作。KB2983890的敘述如下：

這個form對RD來說十分好用，因為可以申請來做測試用。用途跟這一篇的一樣，但唯一不一樣的地方是得在系統上註明"Test Units - Not for Sale" (or equivalent)[各家客戶可以從跟MS簽約的CLA內容裡找到這一句]。
一般來說如果申請ePKEA(WES, POSReady, Industry)的話，因為PID是一個OEM一個Key，所以透過本篇申請的form也會跟透過這篇申請的會一模一樣；但如果你是FES/Pro系列，結果就不一樣了。RD可以透過本篇申請測試PID，待測試完畢得透過一些方式在把PID轉成可activation的PID，至於透過那些方式在後續會補充。

諸多的form中，這個對於distribution是非常有吸引力的。以往distribution針對客戶的某些問題，以往都是對系統輸入OPK附加的PID，所以時間到了得重新安裝，若有ePKEA的問題得跟客戶借PID來用，這也會造成客戶的煩惱。現在dist可以透過這張表格，跟MS申請PID來測試，著實方便多了。
裡面擷取一些內容如下：Keys obtained through this process are strictly for internal use in nonproduction scenarios such as product development and/or testing, training and OEM support.顧名思義就是讓代理商做測試、開發和OEM的support，不准用在production上。所以Dist要申請不需要填CLA number，只需填Embedded Distrubution Agreement Number，再加上其他的填一填就可送給OASignh@microsoft.com來取得PID了。
