  • March 31, 2015 EOL – Products Covered
    • The Embedded product EOL dates are stated in the Direct OEM License Agreements and Additional Terms (AT) documents posted on MyOEM for Embedded Indirect OEMs. This is simply a reminder of Embedded Product EOLs taking place over the next few months of 2015.
    • The following products are scheduled to reach EOL on March 31, 2015:
      • Windows 2000 Professional for Embedded Systems (1-2 CPU Version):
        • Part Number F25-00032 in the “Microsoft OEM Embedded Desktop Operating Systems License Agreement” for Embedded Direct OEMs
        • Orderable Part Number B23-03377 on the Embedded Distributor Royalty Rate List and applicable to Embedded Indirect OEMs
      • Windows 2000 Server for Embedded Systems (1-4 CPU, 5 CAL version):
        • Part Number F24-00002 in the “Microsoft OEM Embedded Server Operating Systems License Agreement” for Embedded Direct OEMs
        • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server for Embedded Systems (1-4 CPU, 5 CAL Version) (ESD):
        • Orderable Part Number C11-02845 on the Embedded Distributor Royalty Rate List and applicable to Embedded Indirect OEMs
    • Microsoft is announcing an early EOL for the following products. The currently published end of license date is July 14, 2015. However, these products are now scheduled to reach end of life on March 31, 2015:
      • Windows Server 2003 for Embedded Systems Terminal Services Client Access License (5 User):
        • Part Number R19-03466 in the "Microsoft OEM Embedded Server Operating Systems License Agreement" for Embedded Direct OEMs
      • Windows Server 2003 for Embedded Systems Terminal Services Client Access License (5 User) (ESD):
        • Orderable Part Number R19-03463 on the Embedded Distributor Royalty Rate List and applicable to Embedded Indirect OEMs
      • Windows Server 2003 for Embedded Systems Terminal Services Client Access License (5 Device):
        • Part Number R19-03300 in the ‘Microsoft OEM Embedded Server Operating Systems License Agreement’ for Embedded Direct OEMs
      • Windows Server 2003 for Embedded Systems Terminal Services Client Access License (5 Device) (ESD):
        • Orderable Part Number R19-03303 on the Embedded Distributor Royalty Rate List and applicable to Embedded Indirect OEMs
    • As of April 1, 2015, Embedded Distributor OEM customers will no longer be able to order these products from Authorized Replicators (ARs).
    • Distributors may sell any inventory of these products after March 31, 2015.
    • Embedded Direct OEMs will no longer be able to distribute these products after March 31, 2015.

    • This is the initial reminder that the following products are scheduled to reach EOL later in 2015. Additional information is scheduled to be communicated closer to the respective EOL dates:

        • EOL July 31, 2015
        • Part Numbers 884-00225 and 884-00229 in the “Microsoft OEM License Agreement for General Embedded Products” for Embedded Direct OEMs
        • Orderable Part Numbers 884-00299 and 884-00300 on the Embedded Distributor Royalty Rate List and applicable to Embedded Indirect OEMs
      • MS-DOS 6.2:
        • EOL December 31, 2015
        • Part Numbers E55-00035, E55-00036, E55-00037 and E55-00038 in the “Microsoft OEM Embedded Utility Tools License Agreement” for Embedded Direct OEMs
        • Orderable Part Numbers 755-00088, 755-00089, 755-00090 and 755-00091 on the Embedded Distributor Royalty Rate List and applicable to Embedded Indirect OEMs
