The QFE team provides a test package having the fix for this issue for WE8S x86fre.  I just tested it and it seems to be resolving the issue.

Please note that this is just a test package and not an official release/package.

Steps for installing:

1. 1.       Disable UWF on the machine(WE8S).
2. 2.       Make sure that the system time/date is correct, there is some limitation with the below test package and it doesn’t install if the system time/date is wrong. Please make sure that the system date is today before you install the test package.
3. 3.       Enable test signing on the machine by typing “Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON” in the administrator command window.
4. 4.       Install the below package.
5. 5.       Test and see if it is resolving the memory leak issue or not.
